Why we organise sip and paint events
We believe that there is more in the world than computers, smartphones and spreadsheets. With Rembrandt van Wine we aim to create an amazing experience for all by bringing people together, spark their creativity and create a great experience filled with laughter!
Why painting in the dark
Our goal is to help people create new connections, and we believe this is much simpler when painting. Even more so when done in a cosy, dimly lit setting, with a glass of wine in your hand. These new connections might last only for the evening, or perhaps they’ll endure a lifetime.
Ensuring a good time for everyone
Meeting new people, especially while trying something entirely unfamiliar like painting in the dark, can feel daunting at first. Therefore, there will be an experienced Host & Art instructor to give advice and make sure your glass is always filled with your favorite drink. This creates a highly positive experience for all involved!
Solo friendly
We always reserve a few extra tickets for those bold enough to attend one of our events solo. Yes, even if an event looks fully booked. So, if you ever fancy doing something different, just drop us a message, and we’ll sort a ticket for you! During the event, you'll be seated at a table with others, and there will be icebreaker question cards scattered about, just in case you need a little nudge to get the conversation started.

What is Rembrandt van Wine?
Rembrandt van Wine is a two-hour sip-and-paint workshop with a unique twist. Alongside the traditional painting experience in a dimly lit setting, there is a strong emphasis on mingling in a semi-dark, non-judgemental atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people or discover unexpected facets of those you think you know well.
Rembrandt van Wine is all about enjoying yourself, stepping outside your comfort zone, and learning something new. This is certainly not your typical night out— come and give it a go!
Can I join an event solo?
Yes, you can! We even hold some spare tickets behind for cool people wanting to come solo, just send us a message and we will get it sorted (even when an event is sold-out). Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone and learning something new while meeting new people!
Can I make a group reservation
Yes you can do this. There are two options here, you can either buy as many tickets as your group needs for one of the events through our paint and sip event calendar.
We can also organise a private event just for you and your group. Fill in this form and we will reach out to you to organise something super fun together.
